Found in a Dead Sea Cave
Assigned to the FBI’s Legal Attaché office in London, Sam uses his skills as an international investigator to begin solving the Copper Scroll’s treasure clues. Traveling from London to the Dead Sea and ancient sites in Jerusalem. he joins the lovely reporter Rebecca Schreiber in beginning to decipher the ancient clues recorded on this most mysterious artifact of the Dead Sea scrolls.
Sixty Treasure Sites
As Sam and Rebecca work on solving the Copper Scroll’s treasure clues, they realize that the 60 treasure sites are organized around ancient stories and metaphors. They question whether any of the treasures hidden at sites located in the “Valley of Trouble,” a cave on the “Mount of Blessings” or a pool in the “Pure Valley” can be real.
Tons of Gold and Silver
As they begin to understand the ancient story emerging from this treasure map’s clues, Sam and Rebecca learn that some of the treasure sites are purely metaphorical, with the listed treasures actually describing oppressive Roman taxes or abuses committed by the Roman governor. But what about the tons of gold and silver? Can any of this treasure horde be real?

After making more progress in unlocking the Copper Scroll’s secrets, Sam and Rebecca realize that some of the gold and silver listed at the 60 treasure sites is real. But what about that “carrying chair with its contents” hidden on a holy mountain, or the sacred relics of the early Christian movement? Is it possible that this ancient treasure map lists some of the world’s most famous lost relics?
