A Treasure Hunt
An investigative attorney with a specialty in recovering stolen antiquities, Sam Romero is looking forward to a quiet teaching sabbatical in Rome. But when he meets the lovely reporter Rebecca Schreiber, he learns that he is the prime suspect in the theft of an ancient treasure map from the Vatican’s Secret Archive. Racing to recover the treasure map from a shadowy network of thieves, Sam and Rebecca battle the thieves on an international hunt for lost treasure.

After a narrow escape from hired assassins, Sam and Rebecca follow the thieves to Israel, where they stage an elaborate scheme to trap them and recover the stolen treasure map. Then, after deciphering the map’s secret code, they learn the truth about the thieves’ sinister plan to use the map in staging a catastrophic terrorist attack.
